I had an uncle who was a real cigar aficionado. He had some kind of numbering/coding system that he'd tag the inside of the band, like '3B4' or such. He'd keep the band and had a logbook that included the code number and his comments on the cigar, occasion, etc.

Hi Eddie, great video. So Perdomo cigars, age their cigars a minimum (their lot 23 line for example) of 5 years before they leave the factory. And they're new 30 years anniversary is aged 15 years! Great cigars.

I hope one day I have the true honor to come see the place. I live in the US and unfortunately in my city they have a smoking ordinance that prohibits any smoking lounges to open. I've never had a 10plus yea aged cigar before, atleast not to my knowledge but hopefully one day :) I hope you and your family are well Eddie! Thank you for the amazing videos

I just had the great pleasure of spending a few days in London with my family; Visiting Davidoff of London was a must and an expected experience. After buying some precious items, I had the great honor of getting to know Mr. Eddie Sahakian personally and would like to thank him for his hospitality and indescribable friendliness. Fantastic to be able to see the shop again after 25 years! I visited the shop in 1999, as a fresh faced 23 year old visiting London from Australia for my second time and as a novice cigar enthusiast. I believe I was served by Eddie himself! I remember a well dressed gentleman, very kind, knowledgable but most of all, sincere. He recommended a Davidoff Corona and a Montecristo Tubo if memory serves me well. My two first introductions into cigars. Although I appreciated the tradition, quality craftsmanship of the surrounding shops around St James, none had the same level of outstanding service as Eddie at Davidoff. He really is an impressionable gentleman. Well spoken and impeccably mannered. Glad to see you again on RUclips after a quarter of a century on my friend! Glad to see you're still doing well!

I visited the Davidoff shop back in 1999 as a fresh faced 23 year old cigar novice visiting from Australia. I believe I was served by Eddie himself who recommended two cigars, a Davidoff corona and a Montecristo tubo. Eddie was as a kind and knowledgeable gentleman back then as now. He is the genuine article, not just for showmanship. He made an impression on me that has set the standard for what it means by outstanding retail customer experience. Now having a RUclips channel I can enjoy that pleasurable experience on demand!! well done!

2 Davidoff Maduro’s yesterday. Plugged and total shyt. I’m really getting annoyed with the quality of this supposed premium cigar. I had to return 40 #2’s and Anniversarios last month. Poor construction and burn.

Eddie. I've just seen a technique using cedar spills to light cigars and introduce a cedar flavour to the initial draw to the cigar. Can you share your thoughts on this technique/practice?
